Our range of flexible FEP wire, Teflon wire, ETFE wire & PTFE equipment wires are suitable for a range of markets including for high temperature, low smoke, flame retardant applications. Our manufacturing capabilities stretch from 36 AWG ultra thin wires to 400 sq. mm power cores and everything in between.
ETFE Wires
A thin wall material with
excellent mechanical properties and chemical and fluid resistance, ETFE operates
between -65oC and +150oC. Habia manufacture ETFE wires to meet: NF C 93-524 and
VG 95218-020 A as well as a range of internal standards for 250V, 600V and
1000V.
FEP Wires
With similar properties to
ETFE, FEP offers an extended temperature range up to +200oC. Habia manufacture
FEP wires to meet: NEMA HP-4 as well as our own internal specifications.
Voltages range from 160V up to 1000V as standard.
Habiaflame – Extreme Environment Equipment
Wires
Designed for the most extreme environments, Habia's RV range
of cables is designed to meet the IEC 60331 specification where the cable must
continue to operate in emergency conditions such as fire, heavy impact trauma
and immersion in water for a minimum of 3 hours.
HFI 120 – All Purpose Equipment
Wires
Perhaps Habia's best all-purpose insulating material, HFI
120 offers a thin wall product with a temperature range of -40oC to +120oC and a
voltage rating of 600V. It is made to our internal specification.
HFI 140 – Defence Standard Wire
A thin,
dual-wall insulation, HFI 140 offers excellent mechanical and chemical
resistance properties as well as a high level of radiation resistance. The
product has a temperature range of -50oC to +120oC, a voltage rating of 600V as
standard and is fully approved to the UK Defence Standard: 61-12 Part 18 Issue 5
as well as being approved for use in London Underground Section 12 applications.
HFI 150 – Flame Retardant Wire
Designed
for its excellent temperature range and radiation resistance, HFI 150 offers a
flame retardant, low smoke zero halogen product with a temperature range of
-50oC to +135oC and a voltage rating of 600V.
HFI 260 – Low Smoke Zero Halogen
Wire
A low smoke zero halogen material with properties close to
those of a fluoropolymer, HFI 260 has a temperature range of -60oC to +190oC, a
voltage rating of 600V as standard and an exceptional radiation tolerance of
>10 E7 Gy.
HFX 125 – Flame Retardant, LSZH
Wire
A thick-wall, irradiated insulation developed for the mass
transporation market, HFX 125 offers a temperature range of -40oC to +125oC with
the flame retardant, low smoke and zero halogen properties that allow it to be
approved for use in London Underground Section 12 applications.
Kapton – Tape Wrapped Wire
A tape-wrapped
product offering exceptionally small dimensions, Kapton wires have a wide
temperature range of -65oC to +200oC and are rated to 250V, 600V and 1000V as
standard.
LSI 155 – Defence
Standard Wire
Available in both single and dual-wall,
irradiated constructions, LSI 155 offers superior mechanical and chemical
performance with a temperature range of -65oC to +150oC and a voltage rating of
600V. LSI 155 is fully approved to the UK Defence Standard: 61-12 Part 33/001.
PFA Wire – Fluid Resistant Wire
A thin
wall material with excellent mechanical properties and chemical and fluid
resistance, PFA has an extended operating temperature range -65oC and +260oC.
Habia manufacture PFA wires to our own internal specification in 250V, 600V and
1000V standards.
PTFE Wire
As with PFA, PTFE offers an
excellent temperature range of -65oC to +260oC. Its excellent soldering
resistance, mechanical properties, chemical resistance and electrical
characteristics make it an ideal product in an extremely wide range of
applications. Habia manufacture PTFE wires to meet: NEMA HP-3, NF C 93 -523, NF
C 93-524, NF C 93-525 and NF C 93-526 as well as BS 3G 210 Types A, B and C and
our own internal standards. Standard voltages range from 160V for ultra thin
wires to 1000V.
TPS 125 XL – German VG Specification
Wire
A thick-wall, irradiated insulation developed to meet the
German VG 95218-025G specification, TPS 125 XL offers a range of larger sized
cores with a temperature range of -50oC to +125oC (+150oC for short term use),
and a standard voltage rating of 600V.
