Flexiform - the flexible reformable alternative to semi-rigid coaxial cables

Flexiform High Performance Microwave Coaxial Cable
Flexiform is a flexible reformable alternative to traditional semi-rigid coaxial cables that operates at frequencies upto 18Ghz as standard. Where high performance and flexibility are required Flexiform is the ideal microwave coaxial cable solution. Unlike traditional semi-rigid coaxial cable Flexiform can be stripped and formed by hand without the need for any specialist tools. Handling is therefore similar to standard coaxial cable which means you can typically use existing cut and strip machines.

As well as the standard 50 ohm Flexiform range - Flexiform 401, Flexiform 380, Flexiform 402 NM and Flexiform 405 NM - Flexiform is available with a number of variations including magnetic conductor types, screening types and material alternatives.

Flexiform L – High Performance Low Loss Microwave Coax Cable
Flexiform 401L and 402L are low loss 50 ohm coaxial cables that use a profiled dielectric to create a coaxial cable that has attenuation approximately 7% lower than the standard Flexiform range. This gives a phase stable high performance coaxial cable with little dimensional trade off and no additional cost implications.

Frequently used within cellular base station antennas, the new Flexiform L series gives the opportunity for antenna manufacturers to incorporate Flexiform into cellular base station designs and offer antennas providing enhanced call quality.

All Flexiform cables are manufactured with silver plated copper conductors, tin soaked, tin plated copper braid and the option of Fluoropolymer (FJ) or Halogen free Jackets (HFJ). Flexiform L is also available in a range of alternative colours.

For applications that require a high performance, flexible microwave coaxial cable Flexiform is the ideal alternative to semi rigid coaxial cable.
